College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental
Medicine degree in 2014.
While in dental school, Dr. Maschek conducted research on dental
materials. Her research article entitled, “Effect of Curing Light Barriers and
Light Types on Energy Density and Composite Conversion” is presently under
consideration for publication in the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Maschek participated in the Medical
Campus Outreach Weekly Women’s Bible Study and has done mission work on the
Amazon River near Iquitos, Peru.
